Jesus Sent = Outreach
We envision people who don’t just go to church on Sundays, they are the church all week long. We see people who, because they prioritize Jesus, they prioritize his mission. Living on mission, our desire for the future is to expand in ministry so that as many as possible will know the good news of a Christ centered life.
Local Missions
Part of the mission of Destination Church is to be Jesus Sent. Through our local outreach, we partner with organizations, schools, and ministries, working together to meet needs both practically and spiritually of the communities we serve.
One of our favorite community outreach connections is with Woodland Acres Elementary. As a church, we are able to bless the staff and students with various projects throughout the year, such as: Coat/Clothing Drives, Teacher Meals, Building/Landscaping, etc.
Global Missions
At Destination Church we financially support over 40 missionaries around the world! What an honor it is to partner with ministries that share the gospel in places beyond our reach in Jacksonville.
As well as partnering with missionaries around the world, Destination Church also gives our own body opportunities to go out to the missions field. We arrange missions trips to various parts of the world each year to allow us to go out and minister and aide other cultures.
